	Emersons very FIRST AUTOMATIC KNIFE!!!The introduction of the MACH-1 collaboration folder in 2000 from Emerson Knives. It also represents the latest in technological advancement and ergonomic development in a dual action auto. Only 100 or less of these have been made in a collaboration between Ernest Emerson and Butch Valloton in 2000. This is one of the first 10 as noted in the date on the blade and no 'V" on the opposite side, accompanied with letter from Emerson. Item # 6520 Duncan 1911 Trigger Flipper, w/ Brown G-10 SOLD
	This is an original rare piece custom Made 1/1. It is a large knife for a folder with a 4.5" modified bowie blade making this a legal folder that can handle fixed blade chores. The handle is 6 inches in length with a 1911 G-10 grip. The knife is a solid stainless steel framelock with titanium bolsters. I would not hesitate to take this rock solid knife into the field in lieu of a fixed blade knife becaue of the rock solid construction, all by hand. The "trigger" acts as a half forward guard to protect your fingers as well as being the flipper for the Ducan Pivot Action opening system. The overall length with the angled pommel/lanyard holder is 10.5 inches. The knife is being sold as is as there is a liftime warranty by Brad Duncan who can refinish the bolster which was polished if the slight variation whcih cannot be seen with the naked eye is an issue. This is preventing the marking of the knife as NIB. Due to this blemish on the bolster, I am marking this down below cost. was 695, now priced to move at 475!!!

The ingenious automatic mechanism prevents the blade from touching anything preventing any scratches from firing or retracting the blade with very close tolerances resulting in the zero blade play. Item # 6505 JA Harkin STI 5/96 Proto 1/1, Lock Out DA Auto w/ Snakewood, NIB (A)
	This is the original one of one made PROTOTYPE of the STi Dual Action auto with a lock out function in the handle on the release button which is used if you are in a jurisdiction that does not allow an auto knife. The automatic function can easily be disbled temporarily by the forward slide of the button. Unless you are a true collector, then you have no idea what a find this Prototype is! Only a couple were made and it was made before many of today's custom knifemakers are building or still trying to figure out lock out mechanisms similar to Brad Duncan's dual rails on the top strap of his Covert series made 8 years later. His name was not establised even as a maker of fine knives when this Knife was made. It features an ATS34 Polished SS Modified Tanto point chisel ground blade which is liner locked. Specs are a 3.5" blade with an OAL of 8". Jeff Harkins is way ahead of his time. This knife is a perfect example of the knifemaking genius of Jeff Harkins and his fantastic designs.
