This is the Satin finished new Nemesis double edged blade OTF by Microtech.This is the first knife I would pick to reintroduce, the Nemesis. The New Nemesis has the same features as the original, liner lock for the blade release as well as a safety for firing the blade. Retraction of the blade is manual as with a folder, you must disengage the liner lock and pull the retraction bar back. The knife comes with a sheath and warranty papers plus instructions. The dims are 5.75" closed, blade is 4.25" with the choil included for the hand ground blade and a dagger logo on the T6061 handle in black. The OAL length opened is a respectable 10". The immaculate fit and finish includes a Damascus like button. The center of the blade features a perfectly ground cannulure (blood groove) with air holes. This is a rare original Socom D/A dated 6/97 that is in BRAND NEW condition with the original box, papers, and warranty. The blade is a Tanto, double flat ground and marked ATS34, still one of the finest blade steels to use. T6061 almininum handle with Kraton inserts. Reese Weiland made a few of these and they are real collectors pieces as it is very difficult to make a knife handle out of carbon fiber in it's entire structure. All specs of the Microtech Hawk are the same.The Hawk is a super fast opening automatic knife with a 4.0" 154cm blade (Rc60) and an overall length of 8.7" and a closed length of 5.0". Action is via a constant torsion coil spring. Weight: 3.2 oz.This is perfect lightweight everyday carry knife but I would collect it. The blade is hand polished with 1200 grit finish.
