The Ultratech, which is the big brother to the UTX, will forever set the standard for all out-the-front knives. Ultratech is Microtech’s original dual action out-the-front knife, and has been the foundation of our entire OTF line. Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. The ULTRATECH’s spring remains in an “at rest” position at all times except when deployed. The Microtech Ultratech fires in and out automatically via the sliding firing button on the knife's right side. The handle is black anodized T-6 aluminum. The blade is satin finished S30V stainless steel with A PLAIN EDGE. The Ultratech has black coated pocket clip for easy carry. Also includes glass breaker,stainless steel hardware and heavy duty nylon sheath.This model features the raised tri wing screws on the handle.
