The SOF series was a product of Butch Vallotton that was hand made every year for the SHOT Show. Only 50 of each were made and some highly adorned as Officer's Models. The only year that featured a Black SOF Tactical DA was 1999. This is serial number 48 of 50 and features a ltitanium grey liner lock. The OAL is approx 10 inches with a 4.75 to 5" blade, depending on where you measure from. There are manual and automatic operating features including a dual stud blade making this a failsafe, double action automatic. A black Micarta handle was used in all of the SOF knives except for the Officer's series.
