This is one heck of an extremely file work of minute detail. The Spider webs on both sides of the bone handle also feature flush abalone inserts for the button. The detail of engraving on the high polish mirror finish blade is amazing, it also features a spider and the webbing as well as Massey's name. OAL is 10.5" with a 4.5" blade, the file work intricately engraved on the
spine is simply a part of the detail from the adonized liners to the spine of the handle all the way to the bottom of the knife. This maker is retired and his knives are no longer available for order. The maker is now teaching custom knifemaking. This is an original acquisition direct as is the drop point knife shown above. I have rare seen hand engraved high polished blades that are mirror polished by hand. This is an example of a master knifemaker's art.
