The Finer Cutlery Collection is a private collection of knives that I have collected for over 19 years as an aficionado of great knives and craftsmanship. All of the knives are brand new and have never been carried or used. They have been stored in the open position within a humidity controlled environment, so no knife has any rust at all on them. In the following pages of this site, you will see one of a kind custom knives, knives that were made only for me with my specifications as well as custom runs and prototypes. Many of these knives are out of production or cannot be obtained since the run was so small. Some of the custom makers have retired or are deceased, so these knives are definitely one of a kind, never to be made again. Many of these knives are mirror polished, that is due to the additional hand work required to make a high polished blade as opposed to a billet of Damascus that is cut and shaped, then sharpened. If you see a Damascus blade knife, be assured it is of the highest quality. I also accept custom orders for knives you may see and like, but would want in a different configuration by the custom maker. You may email these changes and specifications to me and I will send back a quote as well as a time frame to build the knife.
